Day 1: Your Favorite Song

How do you pick a one, true, favorite song?  If you asked me in elementary school, it probably would have been something recorded in the 1950's; in high school, something by Warrant (lol); in college, it would have been a song by the band Live; in law school, something from Pearl Jam......  And while I currently consider my favorite band Wilco, the single song that moves me and literally makes me tear up almost every single time I hear it is "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  I've loved this song since the instant I heard it - the soulful guitar and vocals - and then there's the lyrics.  They touched me before I was pregnant and once I found out I was having boys, I really felt like they were exactly what I wanted to say to them about how I wanted them to live their life.  So boys, here's your song.  :-)
