So this new job HAS been kicking my ass... I just realized how long it's been since I posted anything on here!
The job has been going pretty well, but stressful. Well, I had a good day today, which is why I say pretty well. I'd be lying if I didn't say I had been having thoughts of going back to my old job... but today is good. I'm getting my files ready for 2 mediations later this week and trying to stay on top of things. As a co-worker says, it's all about putting out fires. I hate putting out fires. I like to get work done in an orderly and timely manner. Not be running around like a chicken with my head cut off. But I digress. In good news, my boss stopped by my office today to check on me. First time in about 3 weeks she's been to my office........... Yes, you read that right. I thought I wanted privacy, but there may be a thing as too much. Ahem.
Well, in good news we are gearing up for our trip to California for Amy's wedding! We're leaving on Saturday, 11/8. Going to stay with Becky & Matt in LA on Saturday night, then hopefully see the Shearers on Sunday in OC, and then Mon-Thurs we're free to explore! Thinking a few nights in San Diego and Palm Springs, before coming back to OC on Thursday night. Dinner with some family friends Thurs night, then Friday starts the wedding! Friday night is the rehearsal dinner at Sarducci's (yum), Saturday is the wedding at Francisican Gardens, and Sunday is brunch at Amy's mom's house. We fly home on Monday, 11/17.
It's going to be a GREAT trip!!!
