And now for this week's photo.  Bethany and I have been tossing around the idea of making a cookbook the next time we're together.  Cook all the dishes we love (er, okay, maybe just desserts...), take pictures of them, and then make a keepsake spiral-bound cookbook.  So, in my mind, our pictures need to be as fabulous as La Tartine Gourmande.  No small feat!  I dare you not to want to a) eat and b) go to France once you see her blog.  Anyway, as luck would have it, I have my mom's sewing stuff and with that, a large pile of fat quarters.  Fat quarters are 1/4 yards of fabric, but cut as a half yard in order to give quilters a better piece of fabric to work with. Anyway, I bought some Rainier cherries this week and coupled them with my mom's old Aunt Grace fabrics to recreate the look and style of La Tartine Gourmande.  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?  ;-)
