John may finally realize his dream...

...of having a garage. LOL. We've met with some different contractors, but think we've finally found the right guy (and the right price.) John and I met him at the house today and we talked about where the garage is going to go in our overgrown yard*, the elevation, design, etc. He's full of ideas and promises the garage will look somewhat cottage-y to match the house. Yay! Then we get to redo the landscaping in back (and someday in front, too) and hopefully end up with a yard that 1) can grow actual grass, 2) has fewer skeeters and ticks, and 3) that dogs/future-kids can romp in. Can't wait to get started! But first, we've got to remove some TREES...


*the garage is going to start right where that bunker is, on the left side of the yard, and will be detached from the house.
